Completed: Inspire 3 People

From my 101 in 1001 days list, I have already inspired 3 people to do the same. Actually, even though I can't count them, there were 2 others when I did my pre-list. One did 40 things before she turned 40. That was a neat idea too. Anyone can do this list. I got ideas from Carly who inspired it, googled for other ideas (101 in 1001) and took some from my bucket list. I tweaked the ideas to meet what I wanted to accomplish and I also thought about others with it.

Good luck to those who plan to do it! I know you can =0)

101 in 1001

Inspired by Carly at "Being Carly", I have decided that since my 45 birthday is coming in a couple years that I want to accomplish this task. Quoting the "rules" per Carly's post as follows:

The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days. (a.k.a. Day Zero Project)

The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days? Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
